My first Photography Class!

I started taking a photography class last Tuesday at SPAO.
The class went really well! I'm learning a lot! So I promise dear readers (if there are any :P) that the pictures will get better

Here are a few of the better shots from last class.

Labour Day Weekend

Ahh labour day. Summer's over. It's been a busy summer with the wedding, the honeymoon, my wonderful husband being called to the Bar (!). We spent labour day weekend with my parents and my grandmother.

My grandmother. Still in fantastic shape and
beautiful at 83 years old!

Can you believe that this face used to be a general
in a woman's army?

My mother has decided to knit herself a sweater.
It looks gorgeous

I found this on one of my walks.

I felt like a creepy stalker, but I couldn't resist
taking a picture of this daddy and daughter on
a bike ride.

You cannot believe how many people go 70km/h on this road...

A kid abandoned his bike to go feed the ducks. Poor bike

Abandoned.

Flying into the sun.
My parents live a stone's throw
away from the airport. They have so many planes
flying above their house...

But the view from their house is worth it.
Despite the loud planes...

No post would be complete without a few shots
of Phoebe & Kalba :)

Another weekend with my parents

Spent another weekend with my parents. It was such a gorgeous weekend, we spent most of it outside.

This is Kalba, the Australian Shepherd. She's obsessed with chasing insects that fly (bees, flies, mosquitoes, etc). She's a character :D

I know this picture is a little fuzzy, but she's so fast I could hardly get her at all! Doesn't she look so happy to be running?

This is Phoebe, the Wire Haired Pointing Griffon. She likes to carry objects in her mouth

My parents have sooo many spiders on their property. I don't really mind them. They make for interesting photos

My first blog!

My hubby got me a new toy! Nothing super fancy, but a definite upgrade from my point & shoot. It's a Canon Eos Digital Rebel XSI.So far, I love, love love, it! It's pretty hard to take a bad
picture with it!
So without further ado, here are some pics! Most of them were taken last weekend at (and around) my parents' place in Montreal.
